Left Lid Tail Light Water Damage

The left Tail Light always had moisture condensation in it. Should have complained while still under warranty.

Recently the lower strip of LEDs stopped working.

Removed the unit

As suspected there was corrosion on the circuit board

Water intrusion was due to the sagging gasket at the top rear of the unit

Found a nearly new tail light unit on Ebay for CAD$ 168.99 ( all inclusive ). Tesla quoted CAD$ 450.00 for the unit.

Note that this unit also had the sagging gasket. I Straightened it out and applied Goop silicone sealer all around.
New unit working great. ( lights show yellow in picture but really are red.

Total cost of repair CAD$ 168.99  and about 1.5 hours of time.
