Back up Camera Black Screen

The rear camera just showed a black image. Sometimes with the message "Camera not available"

Needed to determine if the camera failed or cable or connector problem. So ordered a used camera from EBay for total cost of CAD$ 185.00 because Tesla quoted CAD$ 585.00 for the part. As soon as I plugged the EBay one in I had an image on the main screen. Then removed the installed camera and installed the replacement.

Examining the old camera showed massive salt corrosion. Coated the replacement with silicone at the rear to hopefully prevent any future corrosion.
